What types of Sri Lanka eVisa can I apply online?
You can apply for Sri Lanka eVisa for many purposes like tourism, business, visiting relatives or attending international conferences or sporting events, depending on applicant's nationality:
Nationals of Bahrain, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Dominica, Ecuador, Eswatini, Kiribati, Kuwait, Mauritius, Montenegro, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates are NOT required to have an e-Code and can apply for Sri Lanka eVisa for Tourism, Sri Lanka eVisa for Business, Sri Lanka eVisa for visiting family, Sri Lanka eVisa for other purposes (attending international conferences or sporting events).
Nationals of other countries are eligible for Sri Lanka eVisa for Business and Sri Lanka eVisa for other purposes (attending international conferences or sporting events) and are REQUIRED to have an e-Code to apply for Sri Lanka eVisa. This e-Code is usually from Sri Lanka organizations or persons who invite travelers to visit Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka eVisa is only for single entry only with a 3-month validity and allows its owner to stay in Sri Lanka maximum 30 days from the date of entry.
It is advised to apply for Sri Lanka eVisa at least 7 days and at most 3 months before date of entry.

Sri Lanka eVisa is currently available for single entry only. With a Sri Lanka eVisa, you can stay in Sri Lanka up to 30 days from date of entry..
What happens if I have lost my passport?
If you lose your passport, you need to register a new passport.
After that, you must process a new eVisa with the Government of Sri Lanka. We will use all the existing information with the new passport number.
